Hot topics of tomorrow that will shape our future

Future is virtual

During the pandemic, we have witnessed a global turn from the offline to the online world. In education, work, and everyday life. Was it just a temporary necessity or an acceleration of future development? Virtual environment is becoming our primary world and we can no longer strictly distinguish whether we are online or offline. We live in a hybrid space with more and more tasks being done online. Concepts such as virtual reality are not just a matter of fun and computer games anymore. It is a part of sportsmen training, it serves as an education aid or is used in army for flying simulations. You can even get prescribed a visit to VR world if you suffer from pain or anxiety. The future generation will live in this hybrid reality. At a future port youth, we want to connect today's generation to make the future the best it can be.

Future of fashion

Fashion is a part of our everyday life. It became a way to express our personality, style, opinions or mood. People used to save money for months to buy their coveted jacket. However, today with the fast fashion industry almost everyone can buy a number of jackets with one month salary and add a few jeans and tops as a bonus. We own more than we actually need and with the marketing massages we are getting everyday, there is just no way to escape this endless circle of buying, craving and spending even more, throwing away the stuff we have gotten enough of and then craving and shopping again. Or is there a way? We will have a look at it on Future Port Youth!

Future of food

The Future of food is in food created with less energy, water, waste, and animal cruelty. With better nutritional value and positive health impact. Meat used to be a festive dish for rich people, now we have so much that we cannot even eat it. The trend is going backwards, many of us are vegetarians or vegans of our own accord. We are slowly understanding that food is one of the resources we waste the most and the time has come when we have to think more about what we eat, where did the food come from and how are we going to use it. Vertical farms are getting attention and there are even intentions of farming in the space. We might not even need to grow animals for meat at some point, we will print it on 3D printers. The future of food is going to be exciting and full of new approaches!

Future beyond Earth

If you could live on another planet, would you? 50 years ago, we made a huge success with first man stepping on the Moon. Today we are in the middle of billionaire space race on who will rule the universe first. Even though we have been studying the history of outer space for ages, we still know just a little piece of the whole puzzle. Whole civilizations have been fascinated by the unknown of the universe. Now we are slowly figuring out how it all started and where we are heading now. The journey of discovering the space beyond Earth is full of exciting facts and yet still shrouded in mystery. Isn’t it strange that we know so much about our planet but so little about the life that might be existing somewhere else?

Future of AI and robots

Data is the oil of the 21st century, and nobody needs data as much as Artificial intelligence and robots. AI is already so advanced that it can write a book, predict fashion trends, or drive a car. Hand in hand with ever-smarter comes the improved performance of robots who can manage tasks that were unimaginable just a few years back.
At the same time, however, Artificial intelligence and robots also pose a significant peril as they can easily be misused for the sake of warfare and espionage.
What is your opinion on this complex topic Let's discuss it along with many others on November that Future Port Youth. We are looking forward to hearing YOUR opinion.

Future of mobility

Humanity would be much better off without never-ending traffic jams and exhaust fumes.
Can we get rid of them? We definitely can if the right technologies and ideas are applied.
Let’s talk about them at Future Port Youth. Self-driving vehicles and autonomous drones are just the beginning of the Future of mobility. What is coming next? Maybe flying with rockets in the future will be as common as driving cars today. Perhaps cars might not even look or work the way we know them now. The fast-paced develompent and competitive environment is a great nutrient medium for innovations and acceleration of new ideas and approaches on how and by what to move from one place to another. We live in a hasty time and the mobility is accelerating together with our hurried lifes. Get ready for it!
