This project is an implementation of many ideas of a crowdsourcing platform for fact checking of articles and claims on the internet. Platform uses gamification to motivate users (short term and long term motivation) to engage in searching for the truth. In this search for evidence users improve critical thinking. We aim to implement guidelines designed by specialists in this field to impove the process. Users can submit articles and claims from the internet which they want to be analyzed. Afterwards the crowd is able to submit in-depth analysis of a claim and the crowd can vote for the submitted reviews and discuss the evidence. The review with the most positive votes by crowd is marked as the most likely to be true. Anyone coming to the platform can search for existing claims and view their verdicts (if they are true, false, out of context, etc.). We are woking with a team of students in AI field to implement NLP models that could help the future collaboration of (automated) AI driven analysis and the power of a crowd to combat misinformation. This project employs cutting-edge technology, designing a scalable web application and utilizing modern databases. This blend of technology and crowdsourcing allows us to address the misinformation crisis more effectively, contributing significantly to the realization of UN's SDG 16, particularly focusing on target 16.10: ensuring public access to information and protecting fundamental freedoms.

Sustainable Development Goals:
Fact-checking software platforms indirectly contributes to many of UN SDGs, mainly due to its increased potential of access to information. Such platforms promote peace and justice and can bring people together.

Goal 4: Quality Education: providing accurate information and improving critical thinking - informed citizenship

Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure: platform uses cutting-edge technologies (algorithms, databases) to verify information - contributing to development of innovative infrastructure.

Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions: With this platform we can ensure public access to truthfull, accurate information.

Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals: in such platform we could connect various organizations, academic institutions and other entities in a mission to combat misinformation, fostering global partnership
